- You will be asked to donate blood only if you are declared medically fit and are

6) Why should I give blood if I can afford to buy it? |

10) How do you know my blood is of the right type? |
- There are 4 major blood group A, B, AB and O. These could be Rh positive or Rh negative.
The incidence of Rh negative in India is only 5%. All types of people need blood
and we need all types of people to donate blood. If you have the rare type of blood,
it is preferable to be on call at any blood bank close to you. All types of blood
